I Wish That You Were Back By Mal Bennett

I wish that you were back
back into my arms
as I sit in your lap
holding you never letting you go to far

I wish that you were back
so you could hold me again
so we could sit back
and watch the stars again

I wish that you were back
but as you left and walked on by
I tried to smile
so you can fly high

as I lay my head down
I will think of you
never to forget our old memories
and soon to make new ones with you
fly on high
even though I will cry
you were worth it all
I still love you!
