The land is baron cold and vile,
but there are things we know all the while,
those things are meories to hold,
glory more precious than gold,
...

The modern world in which we live our lives,
the materials, corporations and routines,
centuries long the system was worked on,
millennia preceeding more primative the ways,
...

Across the hall i did stand and stare,
at the thing i could have sworn was there,
my feet seemed glued to the freezing floor,
i could not turn to face the door,
...

Centuries we have lived, so calm
Crossed the sea, from the east,
Then we gained our Celtic ways,
And we lived, and we loved,
...

She longed to be a bird.
That she might fly away.
She pitied every blade of grass
For planted they would stay.
...

THE BANNER IT FLYS WITH SUCH PRIDE
HOW THEY WOULD BE PLEASED IF IT DIED
THEY LIVE TO THE SOUTH AND LOOK TO THE NORTH WITH HATE
THEY AIM TO TEAR DOWN THE GATE
...

For here we are,
and here we stay,
enemies near,
enemies far,
...

We are the men of New England,
we my have made a blunder,
for we fought those from England,
we fought through sun and thunder,

leinad yancm Biography

when i was a youngster, ahed ten, eleven, i had the ability to make teachers cry with what i wrote. i soon became a nationalist before secondary school. therefore, i wrote a book when i was thirteen, about the war of 1812, from a british perspective. however, it is not published, as i am waiting until adulthood to publish my two books, one on an immortal who has lived through all of history, and important moments in it. i am now 15, and publishing poems i wrote a long time ago.)

Days Of The Past

The land is baron cold and vile,
but there are things we know all the while,
those things are meories to hold,
glory more precious than gold,
alas one thing we all must learn,
honour is what we must earn,

The year 1812 when it occured,
when the war of greed was suddenly spurred,
Madison's desire,
to extend his orders higher,
i faked my disguist,
to those i most trust,
1781 they beat us there,
this was a chance to make it fair,

Of that time what i miss most,
comrades each man pre and post,
the tunes we marched to made me smile,
though marching to death all the while,
knowing justice would be done,
that was always half the fun,
red and blue fought in a war,
defined by the colour coat you wore,

Yes i fought many a battle,
men crammed up like cattle,
fire reload fire reload,
these the orders we were told,
72 men i did kill,
Always fills me with a chill,
Not just 72 men dead,
but hundreds of family members tears shed,

Yes in the end we won,
and it wasn't barely done,
the Yankees they fell before ouy eyes,
our men full of cheerful cries,
but why did these men all of British link,
become determined just to sink?

Now we go to fight France,
Now we go to Europe's dance,
We most civilised nations of the earth,
we are to thank for the modern world's birth.
