Tune Of The Mourning

Oh Lover where art thou, sojournly I ask
I would capture our days and all our past
My requiem is bittersweet...sad and true
my soul cries out for the return of you.

Bathed in moonlight passions aglow
I strum this tune in hopes you'll know
our squandered hearts beat no more
my love Ill see thee at deaths door

I sit in solace and mourn thy loss
I would hold thee again albeit the cost
of returning to this forsaken place
once again Id see thy face
