my name is ian, im 19, and a freshman in college and have lived in corpus christi texas almost all of my life. ive lived a life im not proud of and im slowly turning it around. writing has always been a way to vent and express the way the struggle called life makes me feel. the majority of my poems will probably be angry or sad but every once in a while.. a bright light will shine on me and something happy might be posted lol)

For My Dream Girl

I believe lust and infatuation comes n goes
I also believe true love creeps up on you really slow
It stops in just to say hi leaving no chance to say goodbye
Catching you off guard and off your toes
And appealing to your eyes ears lips n nose
This feeling is unmistakable leaving an imprint that's non erasable
Once inside you this feeling grows
Through the very blood in your veins that feeling flows

Eventually the feeling will blossom
I can only explain it in one word 'awesome'
And before you know it you breathe for that feeling
Just to feel it again you start daydreaming
But in the end nothing can compare
To the true feeling of when youre physically there
That woman becomes your air
With you my life i would share

Not needing help form any guy who comes along
Portraying an image of perfection
You're the perfect object for my affection
In my flaws you find beauty

But to call you a mere girl is just not right
