in a life of darkness

man always search for compassion
and acknowledgment for being alive

I am here now...
At the porch of a cliff dominating the sea...
Above me, lies a heaven still dormant....
The soft whisper of the leaving night still fills the air...
...

Man, born from the five elements...
Made to love in the image of the almighty...
Graced with perfection of all beings...
Be it with intellect, strength and emotions...
...

The first bump makes one feels uneasy...
Thoughtful of why, when and how...
Suddenly, an unknown being becomes unique...
One tries in vain to figure out the unusual change...
...

Tonight is a special one
One full of mysteries
One full of secrets
Secrets still well concealed
...

I always thought I'll be alone
Left to this world to lead a lonely life
Then came you
Someone to count on

Downfall

in a life of darkness
in a heart of loneliness
man always search for compassion
and acknowledgment for being alive
the wealth we acquire via hardship, stealth and prayer...
shall remain as an omen of our deed
a damnation only resultant of a life of material
where a spirituality is a facade to our own mockery
but in our sloppy hours, we seek a dawn
a moon to bestow her light to the lost
but can we still remain a sheep
following a herd on the verge of a downfall?
