I Hate

I hate this.
I hate this stupid empty house
I hate this stupid empty kitchen
I hate this stupid empty chair
I,
With every inch of every bone in my stupid body,
Hate this emptiness.

But the absolute worst part about this emptiness,
Is that it's not empty.
My mom's sitting right across from me
In that stupid chair,
In this stupid kitchen,
In my stupid house.
It's not empty.
But it should be empty.

I mean, why shouldn't it?
I love my mom very much, and I always will, I always have,
But that chair should be empty.
This kitchen should be empty.
This house should be empty.
But for some damn reason it's not.

I hate this.
I hate this stupid empty house
I hate this stupid empty kitchen
I hate this stupid empty chair
And even if every person in alive sat in that chair,
It would still be empty!

Because it all feels empty
When the wrong person sits
in that stupid chair,
In this stupid kitchen,
In my stupid house.
