Doves coo their squeekers to sleep.

Red rubber balls,
Green, yellow, and blue.
Purple and orange,
And some checkered ones too.

Drinking my coffee,
Under my elms,
On a humid,
Valley morning,

I was only
Ten years old.
When I first saw
The funny blue balloons.
