It's twilight time and the night creatures are bidding farewell to the day.

A Little Night Music

It's twilight time and the night creatures are bidding farewell to the day.
The birds softly chirp as they're rocked to sleep on branches a breeze makes sway.
The crickets and katydids compete with the frogs in a musical marathon.
And the bull frogs add their bass guitars, trying to
strum along.
While this band plays the sky becomes a dance floor for the stars.
And the Big Dipper winks a tango for Jupiter and Mars.
Somewhere a fox pretends he's a coyote, howling at the moon,
And I'm transported to another world this beautiful night in June.
Unfortunately, I must lever this scene and wander off to bed
Still listening to this night music playing in my head.
And the crack for dawn is a sound unheard.
Except by the stirring of the early birds!
