Rosetta.

As I came strolling out of the hopeless woods, I shivered for I could feel an icy blast of air breathing down my neck as if it were trying to unnerve me. The trees shrieked with pain as jet black cravens clenched there claws on their limbs.
As I past an empty field I saw a woman gingerly walking through it, and then she stopped looked around and took a small gardening trowel from out her boot and began digging. Fifteen minutes had passed when she finally stood up and walked of as though nothing had happened. On gut feeling I followed her trying not to get spotted.
I must have spooked her because she started running. Now we are picking up speed through the deserted field and getting closer to the mansion. The crunching under my feet as I walked down the vast space between me and the towering door was like freshly laid snow. The door was loud it was so silent. The mansion loomed over me like it was daring me to enter.
I lost sight of her for a split second and she was gone. I don’t understand. How could she have got away when I was right behind her I said Then I noticed a broken window and got suspicious. I wonder if she has gone in there. I said to myself with curiosity in my voice.
