JOHN AIYELABOLA Poems

The heart has reasons
That love doesn't understand.
Likewise the mind has a 1000 eyes
And the heart but 1
...

From a distance
The ocean meets the stream
The slope embraces the mountains
The rain feeds the lilies
...

During the saga of my good old days
Had waded through the ups and downs
Thick and thin, fires and waters,
weal and woes

From Womb To Tomb

The heart has reasons
That love doesn't understand.
Likewise the mind has a 1000 eyes
And the heart but 1
Yet the light of a whole life
Begins with a kiss.
Though a kiss is an upper preparation
To a lower invitation
That leads to a faster acceleration
But building a newer generation
Which eventually leads to a higher population
But why do men who were forced out
From d thighs of a woman
Always strives to go back.
Why? Why? But why? i asked
And i heard a voice saying
There is no place like home
When sex drives you home.
It gives u life.
It makes u feel great.
Love making becomes therapeutic
And the journey starts from the womb
but leads to the tomb.
SO, PLAY SAFE & SAFE JOURNEY.
