I wait under darkened, cloudy skies
All the cars stop at the traffic lights
But time passes on

There are things in life on which we rely
To feel at all normal and keep us from shy
From love to talents, and bright blue skies
Everyone has something that keeps them alive

Colorado, I love you so
But I had to leave you four years ago
I miss your mountains, your vallerys so green
And my friends I made there, and chocolate ice-cream
