A Broken Chain

Two chains
Two chains that bind
Two chains that bind me.

Two chains that bind my soul.
Two chains that bind my inner self.
The more violent...raging...roaring self.

A flame that has been burning for years.
It screams out: 'Hurt, destroy, and demolish'.
The left chain.

The holy chain.
The chain of wisdom.
The chain of guidance.

The chain to the right path.
The right chain.
The love chain.

The chain of comfort.
The chain of happiness.
The chain of salvation.

The chain of peace.
One chain.
One chain that is broken.

One chain that once bound my raging soul.
One chain that has been shattered by that persons decision.
One chain that has been torn away for reason that are unknown.

That chain is the right chain.
The chain that I trusted more that anything else in the world.
The chain that held me when i was sad.

The chain that loved me for who i was.
The chain that stood by me no matter what.
This broken chain has stirred the fire inside me.

It begins to moan and cry out to me....'You have almost lost everything, im almost free.'
This fire glows with an awesome power.
It screams to me, telling me to release it.

But the left chain.
The chain that continues to bind me.
The chain that holds strong with all its might.

That chain keeps the fire at bay.
But that chain is 77 years old.
How long will it be until the fire comes out?

The raging beast in me is released and consumes me.
I need a new chain.
I need new comfort.

I need new love.
I need.........
