As I descended the stairs I misjudged my step,
down I tumbled losing my breath. The scary part about it is I was the only one around! In what seemed like a split second I was on the ground. Suddenly I awaken; so glad it was all a dream. It was so scary how amazingly real it seemed!

I wish the world could smile more; like it once did. A smile can imply a sedate mind. It can show a freedom or confidence and a desire to do what one wants. Now more than ever our world and attitude are controlled by the media. Gloom and doom dominate the news. News flash: Please watch at your own risk! Rarely seldom will events of the world generate a smile or a happy thought for viewers. The world needs to smile again!
Its ok to watch the news from time to time but do not allow it to control your own personal thoughts! One must find things that make you smile and feel good about yourself and your own life. The world is what it is but that beautiful smile and your demeanor belongs to you!

Dark days
Dark days help you to appreciate when the sun is shining. When will we again see the light? I want to see the light of a new and adventurous morning and a time to freely do almost anything that I desire to do. I would like to take a trip to the mall and enjoy a pretzel at a seating area. One day I want to venture outside and not be compelled to wear a surgical mask or even see others wearing them.
Oh, how I missed going to a matinee movie along with my own box of buttered popcorn. Can't I watch the news that does not speak first of the pandemic? I long for a time when I can again wallow in freedom! Being free comes in many different ways. In my heart I know there are days full of sunshine that are due to all of us. For me it cannot come quick enough!

Golden days, sunrays, and bright clear skies. I place the emphasis on warm weather and the fact that sunshine gives me a mental high.
Sunshine, golden rhymes I am on cloud nine nothing can make me feel better. Let it be known that you touch my soul. You are the one thing I give permission to start my day. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't have it any other way!
When you peek through the sides of the blinds you also tell me that it is time to go! You tell me that obstacles that stand in my way I cannot allowed to crush my day.
Sunshine, lifeline, by design oh how I wish I could have you with me every day! Sunshine you allow me to focus on each new adventure. I don my sunglasses and you ride with me as I drive across town. When I walk down the street, I feel your warm heat. Oh, sunshine please shine down on me!
