Beatiful White Petals

There I was
A beautiful flower
Till you came and took all my petals off
One by one 'till I was raw and defenceless
I just let you
Take them off
'It dosen't hurt', I said
I tried to put them back on
After you'd gone
But I didnt know how
My beautiful white petals
Were gone
So I cried out to God
Help me please
Put them back
Instead He did something
I did not expect
New petals grew
Just like that
