I saw the rapture on America's face
On the threshold, last night, of a brand new day
Searching the unknown that shook the night
Out of the night REVEILLE ! Lead the way

Give, and you will get a heap
If you sow, you're going to reap
But remember when you sow
Thorns, as well as roses grow.

Destruction holds a cup of potent brew
Distilled in copper vats of vice and crime
Bottled and banded by souls of men
Aged since the fall of Adam

The Rapture On America's Face

I saw the rapture on America's face
On the threshold, last night, of a brand new day
Searching the unknown that shook the night
Out of the night REVEILLE ! Lead the way
Wearing a halo of Love that transcends MIGHT
She remembered Samuel, annointing Jesse's son a king
But that was long before her time
It's strange what guided and mis-guided missiles can bring
BUT HOW COULD ATLANTA, GEORGIA SET THE STAGE?

OMNI caught her rainbowing clouds of early dawn
As July sun burnt through the fog of Race and Creed
Transforming the FUTURE with a majic wand
I saw the RAPTURE of CHRIST INDEED!
