When human silence reigns, I hear whispers.
All things non-human begin to speak.
They haven’t spoken before because no one listened.
They tried to reach out to some but the noise blocked out the sound.

I was staring.
The man I beheld was one of the most handsome and beautiful I had ever seen.
He wasn’t looking at me but I think he knew I was staring at him for at that moment, the silver hair flowing down his back like a frozen stream shifted and our eyes locked.
His eyes were a beautiful golden amber color and yet, they were cold.
