As if the breath of knowing makes the loss more real
As if the sharing of memories gives permission to the emptiness

I fled the cities for the road
In part to shed some demons old
But come to find the trails I found
Were more than just a way, away

It feels the time to leave again
To run a gamut never run
To fear unknowns I never knew
To find a corner I'd never been
