Fanciful droplets of
leaves' virgin morning sweats
made my heart colder
than the warmth of my skin

Makers of peace, freedom and too of wars
Hallowed thyself by your adjourned witt’ism
For against your laws no criticism?

'A Quiet Journey III'
Now, forbid it not
When you're told:
'You will kiss the dust'
...

Be not merciful in doing it!
Be not quick to quit!
For in not doing it

Fantasy

Fanciful droplets of
leaves' virgin morning sweats
made my heart colder
than the warmth of my skin
as I swam through them
and the sturdy nets
knitted on imaginary cords:
When I lifted my eyes
and saw through my liquid sight
the penumbra statue beyond the path
sneaking away on tiptoes
I stilled me at once
and gazed back and forth
and felt more sweats
now raining from leaves' eyes
and colder the more
my heart trotted.
Tremor crawled by me and
Moxie raced in fleeting fury
Chimera then said to me
the best land to dwell
the dreamland I know.
