The Spirit-breath

Nightmare - 1

There be a sun detached from other sun
That roams
...

I say that Spirits be behaved
So as Poet-Seer I meet them fearless.

And long and yearn

The flaps of the white winding sheet
I see
I hear
My heart dances to the music of the motions.

Into a coil-spring
Such hard pressed

As unwound springs
...

The waters be coming in
And from the bastions hearing
In each sea-breeze coming
Sing I.
...

Ghost Horse that Neighs at Night
And I rarely that neighing hear

But when I hear there's chill in me
...

Of horses neighing
Of shrieking
Of screaming
Of boomerangs of danger.
...

On the plain to the sea at night
Scorpions roamed.
So many colors represented were!
...

Night Tired but Falls Not Asleep

Therefore though tired why fall asleep I?
