By closed eyes
I smell the chilly wet dawn of spring
Find among my days of spring
The yellow petal of rose
The pipe dream of lost seed in heart of soil
The fallen rain in road the coil
By closed eyes
I taste the firey heat of summer
Find among my days of summer
The pale and tired wheat field
The spring seldomly come to tear
The dried grass in the mountain the shield
By closed eyes
I see the distraught wind of fall
Find among my days of fall
The weary song of homeless crow
The shedder tree still proud
The black clouds of sky the frown
By closed eyes
I touch the iced surface of winter
Find among my days of winter
The sleep of hungry hare
The shining clean snow rare
The freezing, death stroken air the bare
I find death, decedance and rue
In all my seasons, sure
