We were the best of friends
I trusted you with my life
Our warrior hearts beat as one
No one could stand against us

We understood each other blind
Could talk for hours about everything
Could sit for days and need no words
You knew my dark side and loved me still

I knew your dark side and treasured you even more
There were no secrets between us
We would have fought every danger
Side by side, back to back

You told me, you found love
And my heart laughed for your happiness
I left you, glad that you had found
what you were looking for since eons

Sure that we would be friends forever
Hate and anger separated us
poisonous lies whispered in our ears
Rash words and misguided promises

I steeled my heart and stopped to tumble
Regained my strengh in bloody battle

Refound the love of the Goddess of Light
