Decisions And Collisions

Sometimes we make decisions
and there are collisions
of hearts, minds, feelings
and you think you're healing
but you playing with fire
and you think that you've found your prince
but be careful around him since
he could abandon you in a mire
somewhere
pulling out your hair
acting like you don't care,
when you're actually hollow on the inside,
you put up a mask,
trying to hide the pain from everyone
bottling it all up,
pushing it down
and when someone asks
what's wrong
and you snap like a bone
and it all blows up
but not just in a frown,
you cling to them like a rock face
and some might use mace
but the ones that don't
will hurt you worse
so don't try to force
them into a corner
because they'll cut you deeper
than any knife
