i can snatch a fistful of sky,
steal a rainy night,
steer you, through your sorrows,
with all my might.

He thrives on my soul,
He strides down my spine,
He sees through my eyes, blinding my vision.
I sit back and watch as he eats up my time.

The world goes on as it ever did.
The birds sing, the flowers seed.
The river takes a new 'unchanging course',
Under a red sky.
...

An insignificant wretch scampering away.
Its shame stripped off unkindly, brutally.
Naked little wretch. Bleeding. And raped.
Its aggressor stood not far away.
...

He shall be an artist his mother had always known.
As a toddler he had bitten on a crayon,
And the colour had invaded his guts, it had found a way to his heart,
And to an alert mind, to prey on.
...

He stood there, hiding behind a high rock.
He heard the raucous laughter erupt,
Gunshots were fired.
The scorching sun burning and making him feel tired.
...

Escaping from the truth called reality,
Have found shelter in the hands of fantasy,
Do not know, what uncertainty lies ahead,
Something hammers this crazy head.

There is so much left be done,
There is so much left to be said,
In this path of struggle,
I feel I'm the only one.
