To love and not to have,
You tightly by my side,
There is no sadder love,
Than one you have to hide.

When love and rhymes,
Beauty, Art,
Forgotten and neglected

What is this, that now I feel?
As the dark night, lingers thru,
Solitude has no appeal,
It prevents you being you.

Thoughts come tumbling,
Down the stairs,
Where to go?
When no one cares?

We have language,
We have art
Music, Poetry,
We're smart
...

Words come
Words go,
Temporary consolation,
For the melting snow,

Poetry can bring
Hope and beauty,
Light,
To those who are

The dark waters that surround us,
The mystery of language,
And our thinking brain
Can never make us,
