The autumn mist has come along
To take what's left of all things gone
Burnt thoughts are floating through the air
The smell of change is everyhwere

I'm heading to the field in my condition
Hellbent on revenge for all it's worth
Not much left to do in my position
Gonna put some bones into the earth

From her lonely tower she will watch out
Waiting for her true love to appear
Paying for a crime she hasn't done now
Singing songs no one might ever hear

Where the black winds roar
All the way up to the shore
Forevermore
That's where I last saw her heart

I walked up to the dead men on the top of the hill
Saw their empty eyes
But to my surprise
They were dreaming still
