The rumbles left after the deed has been done
The stink and damages
The displaced
The empty street filled with corpse and blood

Aftermath Of War

The rumbles left after the deed has been done
The stink and damages
The displaced
The empty street filled with corpse and blood
Broken homes, broken hearts and broken souls

The insatiability of human wants is never ending

The grudge held between two parties grow
And time ticks away wasted with no refund
Is it just a proof of power or what more could it be?
Could it be human stubbornness to prove one's worth?
Age of youth wasted while time ticks away
Can the wasted period be accounted for?

Took an army to cause so much damages couple of years back
Now, its as easy as pie
So much technological advancement

Those lost, gone and sacrificed, your memory lasts and stands
The nightmares and trauma's for those left behind
The pain and griefs... War is never ending

Like Aṣa sang 'There is fire on the mountain
And nobody seems to be on the run
Oh, there is fire on the mountaintop
And no one is a-runnin''
