A Ebony Stallion

An ebony stallion,
galloping above
the snow covered meadow,
like a bird out of its cage.

An ebony stallion,
coated with scars and wounds,
crippled,
yet with astonishing beauty,
a priceless, and mistreated gemstone.

An ebony stallion,
panting,
but not intending to turn back,
it's not fearful, it's courageous.

An ebony stallion,
racing with the time,
knowing it might be chased down and
beat,
but it has dreams to pursue.
