my guiding star to protect from the fright of night.
my hero, my savior, who has pulled me from my grave.
my love, my friend, im alive because of the gift u gave.

your scent warms my body, god this is a sin.
Miles above the ground i think im flying.
My air cuts out, i think im dying.

We all have that time when we reach into our soul
We think of time and where did it all go.
Fighting to make sense of the thoughts you feel.
Realizing this pool of regret is oh so real.

Fighting to get a grip on what im feeling.
it seems as if the floor has become the ceiling.
i'm not sure what to make of this.
How i crave for that one kiss.

There are nights where i find myself screaming out your name.
Screaming to nothing but darkness as i hang my head in shame.
