Charlie Helms Poems

In the battle of Love and War,
The weary soldier fights his last battle.
As he draws his sword against the brigade
He suddenly realizes he is all alone.

First Line:
Be Quiet, Shut up, Stop Calling Me,
I'm sick, and tired, of the lies,
Tell me, who you, really are,

Daddy, Where did you go when you left here
I wish you were around to see me grow up.
Mama really misses you she cries every night,
and our lives are hell without you.
...

I wish this pain would DIE, or KILL me first.
I am NOT moving away because
I am going to stay right here,
where I'm happy....

Poetry, Ahh, Poetry.
My Relief from the world.
A way to express my ideas, views, and life.
Filled wit words, stanzas, emotion.

The Psychopath of doom is here to take me away. But no, no, no, I wanna stay.
I don't wanna leave the quiet little town. I don't wanna go to the big city. Just leave me be, just leave me here. It's where I'm happy. Yes, I don't fit in with the mainstream but that's who i am. I know he is never home, but I'm better without him, but I don't understand why you just won't leave me alone. I hate the city, I hate the confusion, I hate the indecisiveness of your soul. Make a choice stick to it. Don't worry about the consequences. It's better to do something, then do nothing at all. So let me go, take your hands off of me, get away, and stay there. I'm happy here, I'm better here, and I don't even need my father. All I want, All I need, I already have, and if you try to pull me away I'll get there faster. I'm sick of you, so leave me to myself, leave me so I can cry my bloody tears, of how you ruined my life....again.

UGH, Boredom Kills, Like a snake bite in the brain, poison fills the gaps, and tries to put you to sleep. The Teachers Words blend together and become a mixture of vowels and constants. Attention is gone, until your name is called.
The room closes in and peers faces blur. I hear the annoying sharp voice of the teacher, pencils tapping on desks, and writing on paper, cell phone's keys click for texts to peers, friends, and parents.
All I do is pretend to listen, look up occasionally, nod, and write this poem. UH OH I've been called on. Recall the Words, Recall the Words, Stumble....*sigh in relief*. I got it correct. Luckily I understand whats going on.
Back to boredom, Back to sleep, back to the buzz of sounds in the classroom.

My Heart

Have you ever had the feelings where you WANT to throw up just because you think it will make you feel better. Well that's how I feel right now. Just because she saw right through me. She saw my pain, she saw my breaking heart, that is trying to heal but can't. It's Needing Unconditional Love. Which it knows it has felt, but then ripped away from, broken and stabbed at, bleeding non-stop never ending never dieing out. But how, when its choked off from life, how does it continue living? With a pump, a defibrillator, a pace maker, how? It doesn't fit into logical reasoning, logical ways, life doesn't exist when its choked off. Especially when the heart is ripped, stabbed, beated, broken, killed. But yet it still beats, with a rhythmic beat,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2, constant, yet in pain, in sorrow, in hurt, of lack, lack of love, unconditional love.
