you can not measure a life, unless you know gods mind.
you can not measure hope, , what ruler stretches beyond dreams?
so can you measure desire?
or can you measure love?
it changes like the waves that pound the beach.
or dreams that are always out of reach.
or a life that seems lost of hope, but then regains the fire.
can you measure the true love of a friend?
you can not measure the stars, they're angels dreams
you can not measure the soul, are you god
can you measure sadness
can you measure fear
they're brought upon like the changes of leaves
or the whispered hopes of love on a breeze
or a life that always seems on the brink of madness
how can you measure me?
