Life So Far

For the last 19 years
I've been told this and that about life
For some of the last 19 years
I've experienced the feeling of a rusty knife
- Running through your sympathy, your empathy, your sense of reality and individuality

The fact, that every single man is his own
Is a fact somewhere near impossible to swallow
The fact, that what man thinks, compared to for what man is known
Will convert his identity into nothing but a shadow

A shadow made of the prejudice that selfdelusionality provides
A shadow which will never fade
May though, through the changes of ones psychological tides
Rebuild itself, and become something great!
