Heart beating in a tomb;
mud, quicksand

Breathing; listening to life

How perfect to be
the window between
the garden and
the living room

A piece of jewelry
I can't afford
a brand new dress
or something more

Beige world,
dull green haze,
thin words
...

Here at the ivory cabin by
the gumbo limbo trees,
I watch the reddish bark peel
while sipping lemongrass tea
