Head hanging, limp hands, shallow breaths,
Tired eyes that stare at nothing
Numb to touch

'Those are hello kisses, not goodbye kisses.'

Maybe, so. But we only have a stolen moment to express both.
How can you give a lifetime of love within the span of a few dear minutes?

To see the warmth of your smile
Feeling it envelop my soul

If I can't be with you,
What will become of my heart?
Will it burst from the pressure of loves' blood that is not allowed to flow?
Should not this sanguine elixir nourish the body as well as the soul?

Waiting with bated breath
Butterflies flit and fall like winged acrobats
The scent of yellow roses permeat the air
