The Martian Experience

My aircraft landed on a soft bunch of needles,
that sang and danced and made me feel sort of feeble
though when I stepped out I knew it was not lethal
because the earthlings were flying on it like Martian beetles.

I hid in the buzzing tower by the pool of hydrozis
while the earthlings swapped each others bacteriosis
they seemed to be in a some sort of emotional hypnosis
when they looked at each other like they were no one else's.

I wanted to feel that sort of a sensation
so I decided to look the world for that temptation
to look into someone's eyes with that sort of concentration
but first I had to start my earth preparation.

I found a steel box vehicle like they taught me in training
but when I touched it it began complaining,
so I floated away and soon noticed what the sky had been absorbing
now came down, furiously pouring.

It felt as if my body was leaking
and I noticed that the earthlings started seeing,
what was among them, my own being
which is where I started fleeing.

I then found a place to hide,
a dark, snug place with no air inside
and thought of the rules that I must abide
but not wanting to go back without someone by my side.

What was within me, constantly growing?
It felt like a knot, biting and crawling!
Am I ill or just longing?
Longing for the earthling bonding.

I then realized that I had found what I had been searching for
a new revelation to revive our core,
because us Martians had forgotten our emotions and more
I had to spread what I had learned so I rushed through the door.

I ran into my aircraft with a queer sensation,
as I looked at the earth full of colors and vibrations.
I had now remembered what once was lost in translation,
that life is missing without love and admiration.
