Journeying Thoughts

Life travels on the underside:
soft belly,
where we are vulnerable to
impression,
indentation,
incision.
We would rather not be.
We think life would be better if
we could stay the right way up,
but we capsize naturally.

It seems we touch
belly to belly,
not spine to spine.
