You Stare At My Bad Side

I complain and whine and cry
And you stare at my bad side
I hate everything about me
You keep staring at the same side
I scream louder than ever
You blink and continue to stare
I stop but I am breathing fast
Your stare softens but fixed
I give in and start to weep
You open your arms wide for me

Your ways I will never understand
But they never fail to work
You know me better than me
Love me more than I deserve
Forgive me when I lose myself
Before I realise my mistake
Why are you so beautiful?
You’re magic, a supernatural
I love you more than you know
