who i am is always getting lost
where i'm going is not on any map

The shades of me i let you see
you think you can see all of me
i wonder what it's like to be
i know what it means to free

life or someone like it
is a simple thing you see
whenever it may come around
you probably won't find me

they wrap up my memories
and stand along the wall
displaying everything i've seen
and some make me recall
...

what do the stars and humans have in common?
we all live
we all die
we all have an atraction to the sky
...

Purple is the color of an ever lasting bruise
It feels like angry warmth
Tastes like blood
Sounds like a crying child
...

What was that sound just now
tell me that you heard
please say 'i heard it too'
that comment is preferred

I sit here staring
wondering what to say
