Andreas Vanezis Poems
I've Seen The Other Side
Do we really bleed through similar veins, Then why is it that only your blood, stains? Someone please explain, How a God can make us look the same?
Ingredients For A Bad Poem
A dancing puppet for women & wealth, A tabloid crafted in a shell. There ecstasy is being secretly stealth, Living a lie, not living it well.
The Same As?
It's he who creates Xmas when X is unknown, The same as a tattoo of the skull & bone. It's he who creates heaven when living in hell, The same as dark magic and the invisible spell.
Pay The Piper
Screaming from the last of your breath, Looking up, wandering if he has debts. Castrated in this side show, Received far too many low blows
I see her staring at me through the window, wondering if she knows i'm gazing back. I can see her pain but can she feel mine?
False Pretense of a Stanza Perceived
Our people of lost dark past, Our light will no longer glow. The truth we choose to cast, Our preachers no longer know.
They Can't Take My Dignity
Moon seems closer then it has ever been, The sun farther in the sky. Ocean's seem more shallow then I've ever seen, The mountains farther from my eyes.
U & I
Deep shallow waters dwell Cult iron curtain cell Dickens angel fell Inevitable hell
Until the end of endless time, Where even faith has to leave. Before the days of Babylon, Man has longed for dominance.
Spellbound, A Star falls. Halting through, Dark halls.
It's Quite Sad Actually!
A misguided, unfortunate soul. Society's child,
Label Me Insane!
Days filled with blunder, Souls fueled by hate. Another child's life lost, Falsely acquitted fate.

I've Seen The Other Side
Do we really bleed through similar veins,
Then why is it that only your blood, stains?
Someone please explain,
How a God can make us look the same?
He should have labeled them insane,
Instead the secrets in there brain!
Life's got him in a mix,
It's got him doing tricks.
Like a puppet on a string,
Dance little man, sing.
I must be a fool,
Cause they did't teach me this at school.
While others where at break,
I was contemplating fate.
Although I've seen the other side,
On this day we shall ride.
Light..... light ...
