Ammu Sachariah Poems

In the silent lonely night
When the stars twinkle on the sky
My heart bubble with the memories of past
Old memories are sweet
...

Awakening the ghostly calls of the wild loon
I looked upon the forest stretching into infinity
And set my mind to go deep into it.
The wood seems lonely from the way we look in
...

When I bid farewell
My eyes were not wet
My cheeks were not red
And my lips were not trembled
...

Back To Childhood

In the silent lonely night
When the stars twinkle on the sky
My heart bubble with the memories of past
Old memories are sweet
It can throb the heart with joy
And dip in the deep ocean of sorrow.
Back to childhood is impossible
But my heart thirst for
A time which collect every tiny bits from nature
And store in the locker of innocence
There I see the love of innocence,
The laughter from the depth of heart
And the cry of innocent demand.
When the time give way to months and years
Innocence opens the door to adolescence.
Thoughts and deeds fall on the filthy world
surprised to see the dirt collected inside
Waiting for a time to throw
The dirty filthy bundle away
And treasure the pebbles of innocence once again.
