there is a world that set us apart for itself
it is a world of our own making
Our dreams, Our presents and indeed our pasts
And we are adrift ships with different masts
...
i do remember the look in her face
it was a frown it was a scowl
as if i don't even exist at all
as if i am just a billowing smoke in otherwise clear sky
...
yesterday i was talking to my dream
and he told me you don't dream me anymore
i went aghast and said you are the one who left me
i am bruised here alone and you left me stranded
...
withstanding longings to reclaim childhood days
and agonies of unfulfilled desires
having sighs of yesteryears and days gone by
i imagine you sitting at my bedside
...
Life Is Drizzling
there is a world that set us apart for itself
it is a world of our own making
Our dreams, Our presents and indeed our pasts
And we are adrift ships with different masts
howsoever, we try to extricate ourselves from it
life, as stubborn it is, stares back into you
and starts exchanging glances with you, even if you play truant with it
sometimes, you just walk on the shores of passion
and another day you are on the slippery slopes of indifference
and sometimes you get drenched in the flurry of emotions
and another moment you get enveloped in soothing calm of aloofness
life as they say, moves on and prods you to flow with it
Uninhibited, Unrestrained- it continues to drizzle and you continue your journey searching for
a shelter
