Deep in night,
With sleep miles away,
And mind wandering in haze,
I sit and cry.

Standing in my balcony,
In the early hours of dawn,
I encounter two separate worlds.
One lies in front of my wakeful eyes,

Inquisitive fingers,
Going all over,
Searching for moment's pleasure,
On a surface which was frictionless.

Explanation, reasons, justifications,
And an endless numbers of clarifications,
I am just too disgusted to see how humans dehuman.
Treachery, hatred, diplomacy,
...

I know my days are numbered,
And every breath that I take,
Is accountable to God above,
That death is lurking around the corner,
...

What to write about?
Plight of the woman,
Society’s mishaps,
The lover’s eyes,
...

You have burnt my soul,
Scattered my trust.
Can’t believe what you did,
When you knew it all.
...

I pass these graves everyday

And everyday when I lay my eyes
...

Yet another day to celebrate,
To be friends,
To work in for nothing in the endless nothingness.
...

So many voices,
Unimaginable amount of thoughts,
All lost,
In the folds of time.
