Love Found Me

I was here, not there
when love, like the wind
journeyed through hard
vacuums and spaces to wed me.

Farmers plants in rainy season,
God loves without a reason
sadness isn't lovers' portion...
This love has no rations.

I was here, not there
when love calmed the sea
and made me see
the affections behind broken walls.

Now i know, oh yes i know that a tree can't make a forest
and that a soulmate can sometimes be a fortress in the
world of vain smiles and broken promises...

Beloved, i pray, may this moment last forever,
and may your laps be my place of rest
in the world of lust, hurts and stress.
Comrades, i was here, not there when love found me.
