Tomorrow Poem by Alc Harris

Tomorrow

Rating: 3.3

My eyes are too heavy to weep
My skin feeling old it creeps
My heart is too heavy from wasted years
My glass is too empty to drown all these tears

Another breath so hard to take
Another smile too easy to fake
Here in the dark for hours I sit
The end it is coming my last candle is lit

I wait for daylight to break though the door
The one you left open
But its night ever more
So closing my eyes I pray not to see
Another sunrise…… let me find peace

Have you ever heard 'wasted years' by Iron Maiden? If not you should go listen to it!
