Years ago I found love
I remember our second hug in the hallway
I held you close and whispered in your ear
I remember 'I love you' being the only words that came out
Your beautiful eyes looked up as both of us were shocked
I'll always remember your precious smile when you said it back
I can't remember the last time I've seen you
I can't even remember the last conversation we had
I'll always remember how my feelings for you will never change
