I Love A Rainy Night Poem by Jarid Miller

I Love A Rainy Night

I love a rainy night.
No moon and stars in sight.
Anxieties I have.
Rain makes it alright.

I love a rainy night.
When cold and all alone.
Rain disguises tears.
It covers all the wrong.

At peace when I hear thunder.
This may make you wonder.
It's not strange nor am I weird.
It makes my fears go under.

I love a rainy night.
I lay down in its sight.
Take a rest from the test.
This test that we call life.

Going by the book.
That stuffwill not do.
But watching rain eases stress.
I watch and think of you.

I love a rainy night.
I'll take it whenever I can.
Take this remedy of love.
Oh stay and hold my hand.
