Holding Out Poem by Joshua Mccoy

Holding Out

Rating: 4.0

@-@
It’s like fingernails going down a chalkboard with every breath she takes
O.O
It’s like coughing up a loogie mixed with blood every time she smiles

You know that fizz that comes out of a can of soda after being badly shaken?

You know when sometimes you burp and a little vomit flows up into your mouth?
0=
Its like puking out that fizz from the back of your throat mixed with white pus every time she blinks
@-@
Its like every fiber of hair being ripped from your body with duct tape and then getting drenched in iodine every time she points a finger at the board
O.O
Its like being stripped down naked, locked into a below zero meat locker and sprayed with cold high pressured water every five minutes at every part of your body every time she makes a joke only to discover she’s the only one laughing afterwards
=%
Its like mutilating yourself with a chainsaw to change your gender with blood splattering everywhere and then forcing thousands of maggots to crawl inside the oozing chopped area, every time she calls your name
(o.O)
It’s like making out with your grandpa’s dead, rotting carcass that has decayed into a faceless lump of moldy flesh for over twenty years and then molesting the parasite infested body of your deceased grandmother as dripping lumps of flesh fall from her skeletal body onto the floor like sweat sliding down a sumo wrestler in a hot tub, every time you learn something new

+ Grossed out or can you stand more? +

As you drink a tanker truck full of hot plasma from a greasy hose lined with traces of gasoline and oil, you alternate as a temporary urinal at a crowded truck stop between deep gulps every time he begins to conduct the class…
