Hide Your Heart Poem by Gabrielle Franchetti

Hide Your Heart

Stay away from the crimson flame
sleep better now that your nerves are tamed
Lay upon the roses wrapped in gold
Keep your heart hidden like you were told
The peddles will steal your crimson blood
and hold it within their silky buds
Thorns bite
vines ignite
Keep your heart safe and sound
From the man which flames surround
Do not let the kiss of life
from a glass knife
Awaken you from slumber
He is only there to cumber
Roses burn against your heart
Engraving his name in an all new art
The Roses are Crimson
be careful, Crimson's insane
Don't give your heart away
It's his to Claim
Love him
Hate him
Feel how you Will
He has branded you
Your hearts his to Steal
