Dandelion Poem by Mary Lyle

Dandelion

Rating: 5.0

My Dandelion; From what sun-kissed breeze did you arrive?
Sweeping through my hair and across my lips,
Ever so gently fondling my heart.
Your softness eludes me like the darkness of a midnight sky.
Your pureness envelopes me like the oceans to the shore.
Your subtleness whispers my name just as the
Crisp air gusts amidst a mountain top.
Your quiet, yet empowering, approach engulfing me like
The fog after a storm.
You spread yourself unselfishly, carelessly; yet poetically.
Effortlessly manifesting all that lies within your reach.
Growth; You sustain, Love; You radiate, God; You reflect
My dandelion.
