Children Of The World Poem by james d nall,jr

Children Of The World

Living on the streets
Playing in trash
Eating from a garbage can
Watching adults do dope
Sneaking peeks at prostitutes
Learning things they shouldn't
These are societys throw-aways
Never given a chance at normality
Existing day to day, not living
Wishing for lives they can never have
Sleeping in a cardboard box
Being sold off for a few dollars
These are the children of the world
