Call Of The Wild Poem by Timothy Lee Hollandsworth Jr.

Call Of The Wild

Rating: 4.0

'm not really sure where I'm going,
but I know where I've been.
I know I've been there before,
but I can't remember when.
It's the same old story,
just a different day.
The children hide,
as the animals come out to play.
The moon shines bright,
but only to reveal
that everything
the shadows conceal.
You all hide in your closet
with shivers.
I feel the excitement,
it makes me quiver.
Feel way deep down,
in the pit of your stomach, you know.
Don't turn around.
It's not your time to go.
Don't fear,
The call of the wild.
Ride out the storm.
Oh, fear not child.
Nothing has been torn.
Sometimes we must answer
The call of the wild.
